Paul M. Stumpf, MD, FACS
Dr. Stumpf has lived in Reno since 1973. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where he graduated cum laude with a major in cellular biology and a minor in European history. He then attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine and graduated in 1988. He completed his residency in General Surgery from the University of Iowa in 1994 and moved back to Reno the same year.
He has been Department of Surgery Chairman at both Renown and Saint Mary’s, as well as President of the Washoe County Medical Society and delegate to the Nevada State Medical Association meetings. Dr. Stumpf is active in teaching medical students from the University of Nevada School of Medicine and participates in the Washoe County Medical Society’s lay internship program. He is Board Certified, with two recertifications and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
